Chemical Peels

Your skin is a living organism that has its own life cycle. A chemical peel treatment is designed to remove the skin that is at the end of its cycle to allow the younger, healthier cells to emerge.

Cascade is proud to offer Skin Medica chemical peels as well as other result proven chemical peels.  These peels are indicated for anyone who has photodamaged skin, enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles, or acne and acne scarring. By offering a range of different strength peels our estheticians are able to address your specific needs and individualize your treatment.

These treatments are designed to remove the skin that is at the end of its life cycle allowing for younger, healthier cells to emerge. Our estheticians will work with you to assess your skin concerns and come up with a treatment regimen designed specifically for you.

Understanding Procedure
The Illuminize Peel is our lightest peel. It is appropriate for first-time peel clients or someone looking for a gentle superficial peel to make their skin brighter and more radiant. This is safe to have done every 2 weeks.

The Vitalize Peel is a suitable peel for all skin types. This peel may have down-time with noticeable results for mild to moderate skin imperfections. This is safe to have done every 3 weeks.

The Rejuvenize Peel is the deepest peel in the Skin Medica peel family. This peel does have some down-time and will benefit those clients with more severe skin damage. This is safe to have done every 4-6 weeks.

Your treatment will take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes.  Clients will feel a warm and sometimes tingly feeling on their face during the peel. We use a chiller to cool the skin and keep you comfortable during your peel.

What To Expect After Procedure
As with all of our treatments, all clients will react differently to treatments. Immediately after your peel you may have a little redness.  It may feel taught. We can apply makeup immediately after to hide the redness.

Your downtime will depend on the peel you had. Some peels will have no down-time while others will have peeling. This will not begin until approximately 48 hours after the peel. When peeling begins, it will peel like a sunburn . The heaviest peeling can last anywhere from 2-5 days.
