Welcome to the Cascade Medspa in Baxter MN

Laser resurfacing is truly astonishing in its effectiveness to make you look decades younger. Previous laser treatments were difficult to control and outcomes varied greatly. The Pixel improves skin texture issues such as wrinkles, enlarged pores, scars, skin laxity, stretch marks, pigment related conditions, and prematurely aged skin. Pixel treatments fractionate the laser’s light to only treat 35 percent of the area. This causes the overall skin to remain untouched while the body repairs the small areas treated. During the repair process your body will stimulate production of collagen and grow
new skin cells. Combined with a short procedure time, minimal discomfort, and the overall effect this procedure is held as the greatest advancement in reversing aging in the last 25 years.

FAQ

How do I know if I’m a good candidate for the pixel?

Anyone whose skin shows signs of aging or scarring is a candidate for the Pixel. The most effective results are seen on people who have tried non-invasive therapies and are looking for something more progressive. The best candidates have moderate sun damage, are in good health, and typically take good care of their skin.

Is the Pixel safe?

Pixel treatments are safe and effective. You can expect your skin to be flushed and red after the treatment, however this is completely normal and for the most part relatively short lived. As long as you carefully follow your post treatment instructions, these difficulties will be limited.

Will the Pixel hurt?

The discomfort level varies from person to person. In general, the procedures feel similar to a sunburn. Your provider will apply a topical anesthetic after your procedure and send you home with enough to get you through the next day to make you feel more comfortable. The sunburn sensation is likely to continue after the treatment. These symptoms are a normal part of the healing process and should improve within a few days.
