Acne

Acne is caused by excessive oil production on the face, neck, back, chest and shoulders. The oil clogs the pores, causing them to become inflamed and create pustules or pimples on the skin’s surface. The most common acne sufferers are teenagers due to the hormone changes in their bodies. Adult acne is also common and should not be left untreated. Severe acne can lead to permanent scarring.
